Xavi was shown a yellow card in the 65th minute of Barca's 3-3 draw at Granada. It was for committing his usual offence — shouting at the referee and complaining relentlessly to the fourth official.
Recall that Xavi was shown a red card in Barca's first game of the season against Getafe for doing exactly the same thing. But then he did it more vigorously after Barca were denied a penalty.
The gaffer picked up yet another booking in the Champions League win at Porto for arguing with the officials.
Xavi has also been shown a yellow in games against Atletico Madrid, Las Palmas, Athletic Bilbao and Villarreal.
It means the Barca coach has now accumulated six yellow cards this season, plus one red card.
For comparison, Xavi has received as many bookings as Gavi and Araujo (6). That means Frenkie De Jong (8) is the only Barca player with more yellow cards than his manager.
Xavi may claim La Liga refs are against Barca but the manager also needs to work on his discipline to set an example for his players.
