- Klopp says he has a game plan in mind to try and beat Aston Villa on Saturday.
- The Reds had work a lot in training after the big loss earlier in the season.
- Aston Villa remain a serious rival in Liverpool's quest for a European spot.
"We have to put things right (after Villa 7-2). Things like that shouldn't happen to us. I have the game in my mind, we have to put things right for sure," Jurgen Klopp told a press conference.
"You can't put a game like the Villa one aside. We had to work with it. A lot of things in the game were a problem, we had to solve them. We spoke about it for sure, quite frequently.
"They are serious rivals for European football. They are really good, made some good signings. Watkins, Barkley as well. Cash very good signing. They are in contention for European spot."
Back in the reverse fixture in October, the Reds embarrassingly lost 7-2 to Aston Villa.
The Birmingham side were constantly able to expose Liverpool's weaknesses on a night when everything seemed to go wrong for Klopp's men.
Aston Villa have had a very solid season in the Premier League and are behind Liverpool by 5 points but with a game in hand.
