According to Steve Bates, Virgil van Dijk is not rushing to sign a new contract with Liverpool and wants to evaluate his options.
There has been interest from Dortmund, as well as clubs in Spain, Italy, and Turkey. Van Dijk is said to have been disappointed with Klopp's decision to leave the club.

Premier League spending cap vote
The Premier League clubs have voted today in favour of introducing a spending cap. It would come into effect in the 2025/26 season. Clubs will be restricted in their spending to make sure the league is more equal.
Chelsea reportedly abstained, while Man City, Man Utd and Aston Villa voted against. Liverpool and the remaining 15 clubs voted in favour.
