- The Serbian had to leave the match almost immediately due to Nacho's two yellow cards.
- Luka understood the situation and reacted adequately.
According to Defensa Central, Zinedine Zidane didn't ignore Luka Jovic after taking him off the pitch during our match with Arsenal. The Serbian had to leave due to Nacho Fernandez receiving two yellow cards. The manager chose to keep Benzema on the pitch and spoke to Luka afterwards: "I'm very sorry, we did it thinking about the good of the team."
The match against Arsenal was the first time we saw both Jovic and Benzema playing together. Unfortunately, our attack was cut short because of Nacho's forced exit. Zidane had to compensate in order to keep our defence from collapsing. Perhaps Luka is going to receive more playing time against Atletico Madrid on July 27.
