Ziyech's move to Chelsea proves that Arsenal are helpless in transfer market
The Gunners failed to land Hakim Zieych as he will join Chelsea in the summer. The midfielder said in 2017 that he was an Arsenal fan and that the Gunners are his dream destination. However, he will end up at Stamford Bridge.
This news are a big blow for our club as we were in the race to land the attacker who created uncountable goalscoring opportunities in the Eredivisie. Congratulations to Chelsea.
The problem is that this is not the first time our transfer policy raises questions. In the summer, we wanted to get Upamecano and ended up with David Luiz.
The names of Daniele Rugani and John Stones circulated in January when we were looking for a centre-back but in the end, it was Pablo Mari who joined us.
No offence to Mari, maybe he'll prove himself at the Emirates but he's certainly a gamble considered he was not good enough for Man City and does not have any experience in the Premier League.
When Aaron Ramsey joined Juventus, we received no compensation as we allowed him to run down his contract. Apparently, we'll have a similar situation with Aubameyang.
Ziyech is another example of how wrong Arsenal are approaching transfer policy.
