Liverpool Hate Campaign is too much now
I have been a Liverpool Fan all my life, growing up in south London and then living all my Adult life in the heart of Manchester I have seen all sorts of hate for my beloved team.
I have never really been bothered much until now.
It is one thing being hated by other supporters, they can’t do anything apart from talk and post hate memes.
But over the last 4 season, since we have been climbing the ladder of success back to our rightful position in world football, it has become apparent that the hate Expands further than ordinary fans that cannot effect the game one way or another, last few season has become clear that even professional FA employees footballing officials are in on the act.
I am disgusted by the level of unprofessionalism shown by so many Officials.
From Officials like Anthony Taylor, Martin Atkinson and Even pundits like Gary Lineker And many more who can’t help but show their bias against Liverpool when they have the opportunity either on the pitch or sat in a chair in the VAR room.
I understand these are human beings who where all born somewhere and supported teams when they where children but surly The FA must scrutinise the integrity of these individuals before appointment into games.
As for yesterday’s shambolics on the pitch and in the VAR room somebody must be made to answer for it because it was embarrassing even as just a football fan. We say premier league is the best in the world, but the world is watching as these clear biases go unanswered.
And the sad truth is that the FA would rather save face and defend these biases than own up and call for accountability.
Most VAR decision of offside When analysed by pundits and close up shots provided we can see even though it’s very very tight there is an offside. But yesterday there is no shot or mathematical explanation that the VAR team can give to prove offside.
it is clear somebody made an executive decision that the game should end in a 2-2 draw. And I won’t even touch on the VVD injury because that gets me too infuriated.
Calling all fans of the Game
I know you don’t like Liverpool whatever your reason may be It’s irrelevant.
We all need to come together to fight against these sort of biases. Today it’s Liverpool tomorrow it could be your team.
Over recent years our biggest rivalry has been Manchester City and as much as I don’t like them I would hate to see Such decisions against them.
VAR is a great idea but the very fact that it is still subject to human error means we where better of before. At least before VAR if there was a wrong decision officials can be called to answer but now when we ask for explanations all we get is “COMPUTER SAYS NO!”

Well written, but I don't buy into this hate thing. Let's not be that club and those fans who complain the whole world is against us. We're one of the most historical teams in world football, we're world champs and the reigning pl champs too, so yeah we are going to be disliked and teams want to be the ones to take us down. So for me it is what it is, I'm absolutely fucking fuming about yesterday and feel uts a dusgrace but I'm not gonna start feeling sorry for myself or the team. This ''poor us'' stuff isn't in the lfc dna. We go out and we make our own destiny and don't blame anyone but ourselves when we fail. That's the Liverpool way
The news about VVD injury is heart breaking . I pray that Everton gets punished by fate and the true God favors Liverpool . The game was stolen by Everton .
Eric, your comments in the posts and the chats is always appreciated by me and I'm glad now you're trying your hands at blogs. That being said, I agree with David - this piece is well-written and the examples you have used are great, but let's not start a campaign saying that we are hated and people are biased against us. We ARE hated, that's a fact, but we tend to sound like whiners when we say stuff like there's an intentional bias. That being said, a very good write-up and hope to see more blogs from your end in the future!
Thanks for your advice Taha and under normal circumstances am not the type to whine about being hated as it’s never really been an issue I’ve always taken it as banter other teams get it too. But my frustration has built over time when you see people in professional positions which allowing their biases to influence their decision. My words are a little strong I guess but it was for effect. I just really need something to be done about this weekend. It frustrates me to know that it’s very likely that nothing will be done. 😤😤😤 But thanks guys I will definitely take your advices into consideration the next time am writing something
Eric Owusu,Cheers mate, that's the attitude we need here. We're all bitter and disappointed but we have to stay in the realm of reality here, now let's see what happens in the next few weeks.
