On your marks Go ! that's most of you.
Sunday sees the closure to a most underwhelming season one that promised much but produced little. Ole was allowed the unchecked freedom to allow his group of friends to do as they want , without any structure or discipline. His downfall was clearly on the cards and sealed by the thrashing handed out by Liverpool which highlighted the gulf in class compared to our most bitter rivals.
Ralfs arrival promised much and with his depth of knowledge about the game we were seriously hoping that a change of our clubs fortunes were on the cards.
But it was not long before we came to realise when the workforce under your control are workshy and their understanding of exercise means turning off and on their social media buttons it's clear that the temporary manager role was a non-starter when players refuse to follow instructions.
The side has players of a high calibre well at least that was our belief, but this a myth, their capabilities are below the level needed and their salaries are truely extortionate given the standard of football we have witnessed this term .
So as we prepare for the final game of the season one that has a serious significance in regard to our hope to achieve Europa League status the side choosen for the final game have much to do to turn around the form of late and give us rousing send off.
The players cards are already marked Ralf has a glossy dossier to hand over to our new manager advising of the character of each player their level of motivation their technical ability and their overall worth to the team. l fear it's bad news for most of the players as we are not leaning towards the papering over cracks as in previous years.
Now at United it's a look at our foundations, our youth policy, our transfer policy and wage structure. Our indestiguished style of play lacks any purpose , a non cohesive set of individuals were dependent on moments of genius to pull us through which happened so often thanks to DeGea and Ronaldo in their own magnificent style.
So with just 90 minutes in which to right the wrongs of a season that we shall all forget our players must put on their farewell performance as a form of gratitude to the fans for their endurance and patience of a team that has failed to be United in any form .
