4 reasons why Arsenal don't need Adam Lallana
The Gunners will likely be on the lookout for free agents and swap deals this summer and Arteta's side have been heavily linked with soon-out-of-contract Adam Lallana.
However, we think Arsenal should take a pass on the Englishman nonetheless. Here's why.
1) His injury record
Lallana made 40 league appearances over the last 3 seasons for Liverpool. Which doesn't sound too bad until you look at the total number of minutes and realise it's roughly the equivalent of 12 full games.
2) He is past his peak
In those matches he has only contributed to 2 goals: 1 goal and 1 assist. That's shambolic for an attacking midfielder, even with his bench-warmer status.
3) A better player will have to be sacrificed to accommodate Lallana
It's either ePepe or Saka if we are talking about the wings or Mesut Ozil in the middle. Ozil himself is not a bunch of roses these days but he's still a better creator than Lallana.
4) He is 32
On top of everything, we won't be able to sell Lallana when his deal runs out. Who will take a 34/35-year-old with his injury record?
Do you agree Arsenal should let Lallana go elsewhere?

what if we get him for free though?
Not sold on him either way mate
Yeah, no way
If you get a player for free #WageBill🤔
Could be another reason why we don't need him, actually!
