Jurgen Klopp's post-Liverpool plans revealed
Jurgen Klopp is set to spend the summer off the pitch, focusing on the construction of two new houses. One will be located in Wiesbaden, near Frankfurt, while the other will be on his beloved holiday destination, Mallorca. The purchase of the latter occurred in June 2022 for £3.4 million, and since then, extensive renovations have been underway under the supervision of his wife, Ulla.
Klopp intends to immerse himself in the renovation projects as soon as his Liverpool commitments come to an end. Despite the construction being behind schedule, Klopp is determined to get involved and help complete the massive Mediterranean project. The aim is to transform the Mallorca property into an ecological family paradise, complete with cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art amenities.
The second property in Wiesbaden will allow the Klopps to be close to family, especially after recently becoming first-time grandparents. Jurgen has expressed his excitement about taking on grandparenting duties during his sabbatical.
While there have been speculations about Klopp's future, including the possibility of managing the German national team, Klopp is adamant about taking a well-deserved break and focusing on construction projects during his summer hiatus.
