THE BOARD SHOULD INVEST IN AFRICAN UNDER AGE FOOTBALL
The Barcelona board should as a matter of importance establish football academies in Africa: west Africa, North Africa and Central Africa. If this is considered in the distant future the club will have enough talents to market and use.
African countries particularly Nigeria and others never invested in the younger talents but only Scout for players that suffer to progress from shaking backgrounds without the basic knowledge and nutrition needed to excel as a purposeful footballer.
I can assure the board that if this idea is properly debated and given an insight celebration all Barca faithful will enjoy the bright light at the end of the tunnels.
African players are strong, reliable and multi-talented. If these African youths are given the opportunity and enabled to environment showcase their talent the sky will be their beginning. An example is the France national team which features almost African players.
Recommendation; Throughout Nigeria youth and sports competitions should be organised between the secondary schools in some selected states and the scouts from our dealing club should be on the ground to select the best talents and camp in the established Academy.

You forget one thing. To build that up would take many years even decades. First they have to establish good connections with top clubs and build an extencive scouting network. Build a school, training facilities and training grounds. They also need medical facilities, staff offices and living areas for all the staff and students. That big clubs bring young players to their academies is done for a reason. The cost is much lower. To build and set all that up would cost billions and no club can afford that. Its not just start up the academy anyway. Tons of paperwork, finding a good location for the academy, complete all the legal work, get all the staff and build all facilities needed. It would cost the club alot more than its worth.
I understand your point, but it could be done gradually, it may not be now but for the yet-unborn children and bar fans.
It could but then you have the sporting aspect as well. Big clubs having academies where they handpick the best players would be bad for the leauges. Reason is quite simple. All the best talents would play for the academy team instead of beeing spread amongst many teams. That would make the Academy team dominate the youthleauges completely before they are shipped out to the clubs B team or sold to other clubs in europe. The best way for the big European clubs is not to start their own academy but to work with established clubs to help them develop their talents. That way all the best talents is not in one club but many clubs. It will improve the level of the leauge as well. Foe the big clubs to find and work with African clubs to take the clubs to the next level benefits everyone. The big European clubs, the African clubs and the African leauges.
I concur
