What Current United Players Would Be Good Enough To Be In Sir Alex's 1999 Treble Winning Team?
As the current season could be null and avoided i'm going to take a look and see which United players were good enough this season and would be good enough to play in Sir Alex's 1999 Treble Winning Team. Im going to pick my comined XI which includes current United players and players from the 1999 Treble Season.
RIGHT BACK - Aaron Wan - Bissaka :
For right back I have picked Wan - Bissaka who will be replacing Gary Neville in the 1999 team. The England man made 37 appearances for the Red Devils this season and made 99 successful tackles which is second highest in the Premier League behind Ricardo Pereira. The former Crystal Palace man has been one of United's best players this season and, in my opinion, deserves to be in this combined XI.
CENTRE BACK - Harry Maguire :
To partner Jaam Stam in centre back I have picked current United captain, Harry Maguire. The English man joined from Leicester in the summer and has made a massive difference in the Red Devils defence. Maguire made 41 appearances this season and has commanded this United defence. He has been one of United's best players this season and deserves to be in this cominded XI in my opinion.
MIDFIELD - Scott McTominay :
To partner Roy Keane in midfield i have picked McTominay. The Scottish man made 30 appearances this season and scored 5 goals for the Red Devils. Since becoming a regular starter for United he had made a huge difference in midfield and has been United's best midfielder this season in my opinion and deserves to be in this team without a doubt. I think he would be unbelievable playing next to the legendary Roy Keane.
RIGHT WINGER - Buno Fernandes :
To play right wing i have picked Fernandes. (And i know he's not a winger but i reckon he deserves to be in this XI). The Portuguese signed for United from Sporting in January and has since made a massive difference in this United side. In 9 appearances he has scored 3 goals and assisted 4. I think he deserves to be in this XI for sure.
And there ya have it:
What is your opinion on this XI? Would you make any changes? Make sure to leave your opinions in the comments!

To wan bissaka and maguire would be in the x1 while Bruno getting minutes if pogba commit himself to the team he will be in the team rash will get playing time as ole got then while Dave and peter will share the competition one in champions league other in premier league
I agree on Wan-Bissaka and Maguire. But I doubt whether anyone else would've gotten into that team. Maybe Bruno but I feel he'd be rotated with Scholes. Rashford could also get a few games.
McTominay, as much as I love him, is nowhere near Scholes. Beckham over Bruno all day long. Not because Bruno is a much superior player but because he's not a right midfielder. I agree on AWB and Maguire
