Xavi in
Hey, Culers!
I’ve seen a lot of hate on xavi on this app and I’ve had enough of it! Yes, we were robbed and didn’t play well yesterday, doesn’t mean that Xavi deserves the sack or something. If this was Koeman or Setien, then we would’ve struggled big time.
Last season, we were bad at the beginning, 9th in la liga! This man took us from that too finishing second! Do you guys remember that?
Just because who he picks is Spanish, doesn’t mean it’s about race. Yesterday, he started Alonso for experience, as he used to play for Fiorentina before he joined Chelsea in 2016; so he has a lot of experience against them! He started Raphinha because he thought it would be suitable for his style of game than Ferran or Ansu! If he plays Ansu too much, we don’t want him injured or something! You see, we’re starting to play him regularly.
We will forget about this next Wednesday hopefully, when we smack inter Milan! Remember Xavi is our manager, and we must respect him, whatever decisions he makes!
Forca Barca

he played raphinga accepted but not in his natural position. he left kessie on bench he needs to start learning that not all match needs young talents but experience xavi lacks that
Had we won the game none of you would be posting these long scripts.
Did we win?
Are we all without reason that xavi is killing Barcelona tactically with his petty sentiments and lack of European exposure? If we had played well there wont be any need for gross dependency on the referee's decision Is it not high time we call a spade a spade and question xavi's ability for selecting his best 11 for big matches? For Barcelona players to be going on injuries constantly doesn't it bother you and cause you to think on his training patterns? With his team of experts? Barca did not invest for long term purpose but xavi is Indirectly becoming too confident with his selection of players to a point his not been questioned or talked about because he is loved? Is it not clear that he lacks tactical skills to maintain a high demanding team like Barcelona? What other big teams has xavi won on European stage? Over reliance on dembele and lawandoski is xavi's weak point and on every game's it shows(check stats) He needs to be cautioned else he will continue to see Barcelona as a project for the future! Barcelona didnt bring xavi in as a long term coach or probably as a project for the future..... Alot has been invested into this team and xavi makes light of this work with his inability to read games..this is extremely appalling and pathetic. He talks about playing good football but doesnt seem to care about its outcome on the field of play. I might not be a tactical genius or a professional football manager but after watching football for more than a decade, I’ve generated enough football information in my brain to understand some critical points. Here are some of my thoughts: 1️⃣: Why do Xavi play Raphinha in the LW? Raphinha is naturally a RW and is pretty good at fluently attack the right-wing with his dynamic and effective dribbling ability. I saw more thread of him of the last 5 minutes when he actually played in the RW than I did for 50 minutes when he played in the LW. 2️⃣: Why do Xavi go with the “cross-tactic”? I simply do not understand the point. It’s all about giving the ball to Dembele and hope for a good cross. There’s no fluently in the game, no movements from the midfielders nor any kind of Barca DNA football. Xavi, you need to uplift the game even more. 3️⃣: Why didn’t Xavi start Kessie? He was the main-man of that AC Milan team last season. He clearly knows how to beat Inter Milan, he has experience and is a tough guy. Gavi is still only a kid. No need to use him every game and especially during such a game like yesterday in which, I believe, Kessie could’ve given Barca much more. - in addition to my point 3, it’s very clear that Xavi still do not posses any kind of European tactical experience as a manager. If he did, he would’ve thought about this issue. My take is xavi is gradually showing he lacks international experience and grossly depends on this insane tiki taka kind of play that has long outdated its relevance in today's modern game! I am furious because laporta trusted xavi and risk every thing to give him the best. Imagine if same players were given to previous coaches. His quest to build and depend on spanish players is among the biggest problems his having but not necessarily the problem If the fans and the board dont see this then Barcelona is on it's way to repeat the same mistakes the former board made! We need to step up and take this season seriously. We have risked our club’s future, we have found investments and have greatly reinforced the team. We should be ready to meet any challenge, but yet it feels like we get flashbacks from last season
