Revealed: Three managers in Barca wishlist to replace Xavi

Barcelona are poised to sack Xavi and replace him with another manager for the 2024/25 season.

This comes after the Spaniard infuriated Joan Laporta with his recent controversial comments on lowering expectations for the next campaign.

As per Gerard Romero, Barca currently have three manager options on their wishlist to succeed the Spaniard.

This includes Hansi Flick, Thomas Tuchel, and Rafa Marquez. But, Roberto de Zerbi is not on their wishlist despite his recent decision to leave Brighton.

Marquez is reportedly high on Barca’s list to potentially replace Xavi. This is because Laporta would like someone from within to take up the Barca job, with Marquez currently the Barca B boss.

Laporta is reportedly set to have a meeting with Xavi after the Rayo Vallecano match. Here, he’s likely to personally inform the Spaniard of his decision to replace him.
