Bayern Munich have failed to sign Joao Palhinha from Fulham as the transfer window in the Bundesliga slammed shut at 5 p.m. BST.
Palhinha was due to replace Liverpool-bound Ryan Gravenberch at Bayern, so it would be natural to worry about the Dutchman's move to Liverpool.

However, according to The Athletic, Gravenberch's move to Anfield is still right on track.

As it turns out, the two deals were not dependent on one another, so there's nothing to stop Liverpool from completing the €40m deal to sign the midfielder.
