Long season with injuried and heavy matches , i think they will all have a good chance and with 5 subs option, we r ok ,+ nico only 20  and next year will be no busquets and for balde too he is only 18 or 17 
And both alba and alonso are 32+ so no rush. Regarding pablo torre he is 18 only and will play for B and then will be promoted easily

Good point but the season is long and to have a team that challenges for all titles rotation is key so I'm sure Gavi, Ansu Ferran and pablo(who originally was signed to start off at Barca B) WILL get game time maybe not guaranteed starters but enough for much needed experience and growth

Should remember that Koundè is actually young (23) though more experienced. Not to mention Pedri, Gavi, Araujo are starters too. We've got to have the right mix of youth and veterans, otherwise we will close the year without trophies

it's not about the young players... it's about the game... you don't get to play because you are young but because you earned your place in the squad.... this mindset will prevail with Xavi. the youngsters must develop grit for the game

It's rather a light spot not dark spot. A team like Barcelona you don't expect every youngster to play, only the exceptional ones. Iniesta had to compete with the likes of Deco, Messi had to compete with the likes of Henry and Eto'o for starting spot. That is what would make them world class.

Any young player that has the right mentality and is able to up his game can easily dislodge the veterans,it's actually a good thing that we have such depth.The competition will make everybody doing his best,whoever slacks will be relegated to the bench.What's important is for the team to fight for every trophy,and not to placate the youth players at the expense of winning.

that's just a baseless analysis. How old is Dembele, Raphinha, Kessie, Christeseen. Those players are also young so if someone takes the other's place then they have to work hard. this will boost our team greatly

it's still difficult for me to understand human beings....  just last season whole of BARCE players, supporters, and the board members are suffering... alot of supporters can't even go to stadium, players are confused, board members are frustrated... there's a need for change that's all.... Muller said BARCE team  doesn't have the intensity the character to compete with the top teams... what you hear we are rebuilding. football is made for young and old.. if a player is 40 years old and  he is playing better than a 17 years old will u bench the old player. is raphinha, kounde, Christensen and frank kessie old players. lewandowski is better striker then all young and old strikers in the world.

Exactly i expected Balde to just make the back up because that would be the morale booster cos these days its the young one’s that make the team not just names and Bernardo is good but we have enough midfielders and now Nico is been loaned out for pjanic and same pjanic won’t get much time as long as busi is there. Now we need to strengthen the team with what we have cos these veterans just have 2 seasons and that’s it and possibly after they depart we might seek for replacement which will last only 2 more seasons so why not the lads just how Ajax does

The issue is not age but current performance for you to maintain your position. Xavi has confidence in all his players including the younger ones. I know his selection will be based on physical fitness, current form and role of formation meant for a particular match.For instance, if Xavi prefers to play 4-4-2 formation with two top. Definitely, he will play Lewa and Auba at the top but with 4-3-3 formation, he will prefer to play the trio made up of Raphina, Lewa and Dembele. With players like Fati, Auba and Torres as super subs at that attacking positions.. Competition brings out the best performance in a player. The younger ones still have the opportunity to prove themselves and also learn a lot.

I think we are being too greedy now. Balde has done nothing but prove he’s deserving of the back up role to Alba. Yet we want to bring in Alonso anyway. We need to get rid of either Memphis or Aubamayang. I’d sadly say Memphis simply because Auba is a goal machine. Also a midfielder. Honestly I’d say Pjanic. Even though he looked really good i’d rather invest in the future with Nico since you have so many quality midfielders in front of him.
