- The football match between PSG and Istanbul on Tuesday was suspended because of an alleged racism incident from a linesman Sebastian Coltescu.
- Emanuel Rosu, a native Romanian and an ex-writer for respected outlets the Guardian and Four Four Two translated the conversation between the refs.
- "The black one over there," said the linesman. "Go and check who he is. The black one over there, it's not possible to act like that."
- The person in question was Pierre Webo, one of the Istanbul coaches who was about to be cautioned.
- During the game Coltescu was heard telling a crowd of footballers "negru in Romanian means black. I am not a racist", as picked up by Telefoot's microphones.
- It was unprecedented as both sets of players decided to walk away after having crowded the referee.
- The game will be replayed on Wednesday with a different set of referees.
