Known more for his life off the pitch than performances on it, Hulk dominated the news when he got into a relationship with his ex-wife Iran Angelo's niece Camila. It was alleged by his ex-wife that the Shanghai SIPG winger cheated on her with her niece but the Brazilian has refuted such claims.
In an bare-it-all Instagram live, Hulk revealed, as quoted by the Daily Mirror: "I never had a relationship with Camila when I was married.
"I had countless reasons. I spent my entire marriage betraying Iran. She lived a single life. I just wanted to have the status of wife of the Hulk.
"When I met Iran, I was 21, today I am 34. Today Camila is 32 years old. Thirteen years ago, Camila was 19; Iran at the time was 39."
Iran and Hulk were together for 12 years and share three kids but the footballer claims he dated Camila only after separating from his former partner.
Hulk added: "Camila came to China. I don't think I'm an ugly person and I'm young. Camila is young and extremely beautiful. We ended up getting involved. We were single.
"We came back from China and told the family when you came back and you went to media. I have a clear conscience and peace. If you want to continue cursing me and treating me like a monster, the choice is yours. But criticize on top of the truth."
At least Hulk is being honest about it!
