Spanish players handed suspended prison sentence for filming threesome and sharing it on WhatsApp without consent
  • Spanish players Sergi Enrich and Antonio Luna have been handed two-year suspended prison sentences for sharing an explicit video without the consent of a third person, Mundo Deportivo reports.
  • In 2016, the two players, who were representing La Liga side Eibar at the time, engaged in sexual activity with a young woman - but she did not know that this episode was recorded.
  • Six months later, the video appeared online and went quite viral, leading the woman to experience psychological problems.
  • The prosecutors demanded five years in prison for both Enrich and Luna, but in the end, the footballers got only two years each.
  • According to the Spanish laws, however, a previously unconvicted person can serve a sentence of two years or under on probation - which means that neither of them will actually be imprisoned.
  • However, both Enrich, who is still at Eibar, and Luna, who joined Girona last summer, were ordered to pay €100,000 each as a fine.
