- The IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics) has released its list of top three European players of the decade [2011-2021].
- As one may expect, Cristiano Ronaldo has topped the list but surprisingly, Robert Lewandowski is nowhere to be seen.
- After all, the Bayern Munich star has been consistently netting double figures in goals since 2014/15. Lewandowski has already scored 24 goals this term.
- Instead, Sergio Ramos and Manuel Neuer join Ronaldo - a fair assessment, considering the Real Madrid star has been the best among defenders. Neuer, too, has been a goalkeeping force to reckon with.
