Words that led to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's bizarre red card revealed

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's red card in AC Milan's game against Parma is likely to be up there with th most controversial moments of the weekend.

It appears to be a result of a simple misunderstanding, though, if Gazzetta Dello Sport is to be believed.

The Italian media outlet tried to reconstruct the events that led to Zlatan's sending-off and figured that the Swede might have been shown a red card after simply telling referee Fabio Maresca 'It seems strange to me that you don’t care what I say'.

However, Maresca appeared to have misheard the 'sembra strano' ('it seems strange') bit and interpreted it as 'sei un bastardo' which does not require a translation. If that's the case, no wonder that Zlatan saw the red.

16-year-old Dortmund prodigy Moukoko locks 23-year-old ex-girlfriend up in his flat, police intervene

While his professional career is going great, the private life of Borussia Dortmund's 16-year-old talent Youssufa Moukoko isn't as smooth. According to the German outlet Bild am Sonntag, local police had to intervene in order to free his 23-year-old ex-girlfriend from his flat after she notified the emergency services.

For now, it isn't clear why she was locked up in there, but Dortmund's police spokesman Oliver Peiler revealed that Moukoko's former girlfriend didn't file an official complaint. The public prosecutor will decide whether an investigation will be carried out, it's said.

As per a previous report from the Chicago Tribune, Yousuoffa and the unnamed woman started dating back in 2017, when they were 12 and 18 years old respectively. It's unclear at what point the couple split apart.

So far this term, the 16-year-old made 15 appearances for BVB, scoring three goals.

Mino Raiola plans to make Erling Haaland deal 'biggest in football history', 2x bigger wages than Leo Messi

Mino Raiola is on a mission to make Erling Haaland the highest-paid player in football history after his future move to any European giant, as per The Mirror.

It’s said that the super-agent wants to secure a humongous contract for Haaland which will earn the striker £1m-A-WEEK – something no other footballer has managed so far.

Just for comparison's sake, Lionel Messi – currently the highest-paid player in football – earns £500,000-a-week (after tax) and this would basically be double of that!

Real Madrid, PSG and Man City are touted as some of the only clubs even capable of having the finances to meet Haaland’s incredible demands.

Borussia Dortmund have already made it clear that they’ll want upwards of £150m in transfer fees to sell Haaland – which would also break the transfer record if any club can pay that in the summer.

Raiola is convinced that Haaland’s incredible goal-scoring stats – which has seen him score 39 goals in 41 games for club and country this season – should help him secure this historic deal.
