Neymar trolls Bayern after match: 'You can flirt with a girl the whole night. Then another guy wins her over in 5 minutes'

Neymar threw shades at Bayern Munich when asked about Bayern's complete dominance of possession during PSG's Champions League quarterfinal clash on Tuesday.

"It's like they say, right? You can have possession, just like you can flirt with a girl the whole night, then a guy comes and wins her over in five minutes," Neymar said to TNT Sports Brazil.

Bayern Munich travelled to the Parc Des Princes on Tuesday knowing that only a win by 2 clear goals would guarantee them a Champions League semifinal place, after losing the first leg 3-2 at home to PSG.

The Bavarians dominated the encounter and even grabbed an early lead in the 40th-minute through Choupo-Moting.

In certain 10-minute spates of the game, Bayern enjoyed up to 70% possession of the ball. In the end, PSG secured victory on aggregate despite losing on the night.

It must be said that Neymar missed a host of chances to grab a goal for the Parisians.

Beautiful moment between Neymar and David Alaba caught on camera – there's a history behind this gesture

Paris Saint-Germain's 1-0 loss at the hands of Bayern Munich on Tuesday didn't prevent Mauricio Pochettino's men from reaching the Champions League semi-final as the Parisians defeated the Bavarians 3-2 at the Allianz Arena in the quarter-final first leg last week.

Neymar, meanwhile, produced a moment of class following the encounter as he consoled David Alaba at full-time at the Parc des Princes.

That was a touching moment between the Brazilian and the Austrian but what made it even more special is that Alaba did exactly the same to Neymar after Bayern's 1-0 victory over PSG in last season's CL final in Lisbon.

The class is permanent, ladies and gentlemen.

Neymar explains why he celebrated in front of Joshua Kimmich: 'He said they were a better team'

When asked about why he celebrated right in front of Joshua Kimmich after PSG’s win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals, Neymar told TNT Sports Brasil: “It's funny because I didn't even celebrate to mess with him, it was more with Leo and I ended up celebrating with him.

“It was fate that put me close to [Kimmich]. He said that their team was better, that they would win. He was sure that they would go to the semifinals.

“You can have possession as much as you like. You can sing for a woman all night long, but if a guy comes and takes her from you in 5 minutes, she's gone.”

Neymar was overjoyed and celebrated wildly with teammate Leandro Paredes after PSG held on to secure a narrow win over the UCL defending champions despite losing the second leg 0-1.

The Brazilian forward’s heroics in the first leg – in which he provided two brilliant assists – eventually helped PSG hold onto their formidable 3 goal advantage and move into the semi-finals thanks to the away goal rule.
