Barcelona's new director of youth football Jose Ramón Alexanko has laid some strict new rules for the Masia Academy players, as revealed by Spanish outlet AS.
According to the new rules, mobile phones are banned from the dressing room, during training sessions and matches.
Also, 'bizarre' hairstyles with flashy colours are strictly prohibited for La Masia players.
Alexanko also instituted stiff penalties for defaulters of the new rules. Youngsters are required to submit their mobile phones to a club delegate on arrival at the Ciutat Esportiva centre.
The phones will be returned to the players as they leave the base.
Alexanco says the new rules are being put in place to discipline to the club's youth system.
