Manchester City are set to unveil statues of Vincent Kompany and David Silva ahead of the Arsenal game next Saturday, according to The Mirror.
The pieces will be situated outside the Etihad's East Stand as a sign of recognition of the pair's status as the club legends.
The source claims that both Kompany and Silva have already seen the work and are 'thrilled' by it.
They won't be the only modern-era players to get a statue there, as the club has already commissioned one of Sergio Aguero, City's record goalscorer.
Aguero, Silva and Kompany were all instrumental in making Man City the Premier League powerhouse they are today.
They led the club to its first four Premier League titles, while Aguero was also part of the team that lifted the fifth one earlier this year.
