Fulham ready to offer lucrative bid for Nketiah as Arsenal 'reluctantly' approve summer sale (reliability: 3 stars)

Arsenal have reluctantly agreed to sell striker Eddie Nketiah in the summer transfer window, claims the Sun.

The Gunners are in need for generating revenue by selling players and improve their own summer transfer budget. As a result, they’re ready to sacrifice the youth academy striker.

Fulham are currently in pole position to sign Nketiah in the summer. They are ready to offer up a lucrative £30m for the striker as well.

But the Cottagers face stiff competition for him. Wolves are also interested in the English forward and Everton are looking at a possible loan move too.

Nketiah has fallen down the pecking order in Arsenal’s forward line after failing to maintain consistency last season. He only scored six goals in 37 appearances last season, scoring in just three of 27 Premier League appearances.
