✅ OFFICIAL: Alena leaves to Real Betis on loan

FC Barcelona and Real Betis have reached an agreement over Carles Alena's loan move until the end of the season.

The official sources note that Real Betis have no right to buy the player out as soon as the loan term expires.

Alena has only made five first-team appearances for Barcelona this season. He was out of action for more than 100 days: between mid-August and early December.

Carles Alena has been part of La Masia since 2006. The midfielder completed his first-team debut in a Copa del Rey game against Hercules in the 2016/17 season. Interestingly, he managed to score a goal in his debut game for the Catalans. In total, the 20-year-old has made 39 appearances for Blaugrana and scored three goals.
