OFFICIAL: El Clasico date and time confirmed

La Liga official media have just confirmed that the next league Clasico is going to be played on March 1. The duel will kick off at 21:00 CET. The game will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

This information was previously announced by La Liga's president Javier Tebas so there is no surprise about the Clasico date and time.

Barcelona and Real Madrid faced each other on December 18. The game took place at the Camp Nou stadium and resulted in a goalless draw, the first one in the last 17 years.

The first Clasico of the season was surrounded by the off-field issues which postponed the game. Thankfully, this time, there shouldn't arise any problems that could lead to the tie being rescheduled.

As a reminder, the demonstration in Catalonia's capital saw the Spanish Football Federation change the date of the first Clasico from October 26 to December 18.

Real Madrid are three points ahead of Barcelona after 22 La Liga matchdays. The Catalans will face Betis away, Getafe and Eibar (both home) before Clasico. Los Blancos, for their part, will play Osasuna away, Celta home and Levante away.
