Napoli's Zielinski: 'We won't be without a chance in Barcelona'

Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski reckons his side could have won the Champions League last 16's clash against Barcelona with a bit more effort.

"We could have won and done more," Zielinski told Sky Sport Italia (h/t Daily Mail). "But it was a very good game."

Despite the Catalans' formidable home record, the Polish midfielder is confident his team can still qualify for the next round.

"We have a chance in Barcelona, we have to play our game. We didn't let Barcelona get a shot on target, it's too bad with the goal we conceded.

"They are still great, and we can't leave anything behind. It's not over yet, and we will have to risk something more in the return leg. We have a great team and we can do well."

As a reminder the game at the San Paolo Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw after Dries Mertens scored for Napoli in the first half, with Antoine Griezmann being the only Barca player to respond after the break. The Frenchman produced an accurate finish into the right upper corner after Nelson Semedo's pass in the box.

Barca will play the second-leg fixture against Napoli without two key players, Sergio Busquets and Arturo Vidal. Sergio picked up too many yellow cards while the Chilean was sent off in the second half against the Azzurri.

Apart from these players, Luis Suarez, Ousmane Dembele, Jordi Alba and Sergi Roberto are yet unavailable for Barca. However, Quique Setien has assured that both Alba and Roberto will be fit for the return leg against Napoli on March 18.
