Recent Barcelona signing Hiroki Abe has finally made his debut in Barca B's friendly against Santfeliuenc.
The team finished the match 2-0 up as the lately-renewed Ansu Fati and Marcus McGuane brought Barcelona B their first win of the pre-season.
As for the Japanese youngster, Hiroki was subbed on during the 2nd half and provided a solid performance as an inside winger. He was great at dribbling and, in general, displayed quality technique.
Earlier on, the 20-year-old was expected to debut in Barca's first-team in the friendly against Vissel Kobe, however, the player was out with hip discomfort.
Originally a left midfielder, Hiroki Abe is also able to play on the opposite flank. He has also been used as a second striker during his stay in Japan. The youngster played 48 games in the J-League and scored four goals. In 2018, he was named the Best Young Player of the Year. Moreover, a couple of weeks ago he made his international debut in the Copa America against Chile. After that, the Japanese was unveiled as Barcelona player.
