Dani Alves sets incredible milestone after winning Copa America

Former Blaugrana Dani Alves becomes the first-ever footballer to ever win FORTY trophies. The Brazilian has recently become the most decorated player in the history of football. Even though he is already 36 years old and currently without a club, the right-back keeps adding more and more titles to his impressive tally.

Dani Alves has now scooped the Copa America title. He captained Brazil during the entire tournament and completed five out of six matches until the final whistle. The right-back also scored one of the goals in the spectacular 5-0 victory against Peru during the group stage of the tournament.

No wonder Dani Alves was named the best player of the Copa America. Once again, he is THIRTY-SIX.

Dani Alves could still make an iconic Barcelona return. According to the rumours in his native Brazil, the right-back would like to retire at the Camp Nou stadium. He is currently a free agent as his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired on June 30. Alves' potential comeback could be yet another driving force to bring Neymar back at Barca as well.

Alves' Brazil eliminated Messi's Argentina in the Copa America semi-finals and the right-back sent an emotional message of gratitude to his former teammate: "Thank you for being part of my life and it is always a great honour to have you near again, brother, even though we are separated by a shirt, we are connected by our relationship! My respect."
