Denis admits he isn't happy at Barca and could consider a move outside

Denis Suarez had his moment of glory on Wednesday night against Cultural Leonesa as he netted a brace. Nevertheless, he is seemingly a forgotten man at Barcelona right now as he only capped 100 minutes of the playing time before the most recent Copa del Rey fixture. With several top clubs interested, he now refuses to rule out a possibility of leaving Barca.

Denis says in an interview to beIN after the Cultural match, as quoted by Diario Sport: "I'm not happy. What I want is to play. I'm a footballer and what footballers want is to play. I'm not involved much and I hope from here to January, before Christmas, to play as much as possible."

He finishes up: "I'm only thinking about playing and I'm not at the moment. So obviously I'm not happy if I don't play and, well, from here until January I want to play as much as possible and then we'll see. I'm a football player so I'm happy when I'm playing and I'm unhappy when I don't."

Denis is linked with Chelsea, Arsenal and Milan. The Rossoneri could only loan him out in winter as they consider the midfielder a plan B if they fail to sign another Barcelona-bound player, Cesc Fabregas. The Blues, meanwhile, are ready to sign the 24-year-old on a permanent basis for 45 million euros.

Since Denis' return to Barcelona in the 2016/2017 season, the midfielder has taken part in 66 matches and registered 3,114 minutes of the total playing time. He has scored eight goals in all competitions: three in La Liga and five in Copa del Rey.
