The significant part of Griezmann's problems at Barca is the Frenchman's failure to create a link with Barca main creator and goalscorer, Leo Messi.
The duo didn't complete a single pass between each other in the first half against Celta, according to Opta. Although later in the game Antoine received a perfect pass from Leo and was very upset not to score from it, the questions still linger about the on-the-pitch relationship between the two forwards.
One thing that should cheer up Barca fans is that their relationship off-the-pitch appears to be improving. After the clash, Leo gave Antoine a very warm victory hug with the duo looking perfectly happy with each other.
Maybe Valverde is right after all, and the Frenchman simply needs more time to adjust to a new playing style and his new attacking partners? Time will tell.
