Antoine Griezmann produced one of his best performances ever in the 3-0 Eibar win. The Frenchman opened the scoring, assisted on Leo Messi's second goal and set up Luis Suarez's third goal. In total, he was involved in all three goals the Catalans scored past the Basques.
Griezmann was heavily criticised for his slow adaptation to the new club. After the game, the Frenchman admitted the ties between the attackers still need some polishing.
Marca quote the Frenchman as saying: "There will be good days and bad days. I've just arrived and I need to get used to this. We need to understand each other even better, but that will come with minutes and matches."
In total, Griezmann seems to be satisfied with Barca's performance ahead of the crucial Champions League clash against Slavia Prague:
"The three points were important because it can be difficult after an international break. But we had a good game and now we can think about the Champions League. We knew that [Eibar] pressed high, so I'd said to Lenglet to put the ball into space near me if he saw me near the full-back, and that's what happened. We created a lot of chances with good passes."
