No matter how insanely great Leo Messi's footballing records are Cristiano Ronaldo fans will always invent new peculiar ways to 'prove' that their fave is better.
Just recently a tread about Ronaldo achievements Leo has no chance at reaching composed by Madrid fan account MadridistaHaven has gained popularity on Twitter.
Of course, at least some of these records are still available for Messi to achieve - like winning Champions League final MOTM award or scoring a World Cup hat-trick or even winning three Champions League in a row. While others are simply contingent: the simple fact that Messi is a one-club man has 'prevented' him from winning three different leagues.
There is no arguing that Cristiano Ronaldo is a great forward, but at the same time, he and Messi are hardly comparable.
