Antoine Griezmann's sensational €120m arrival this summer is still a burning issue at Barcelona. There were rumours the Blaugrana dressing room didn't want the Frenchman or that he wasn't on amicable terms with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
The players have to deny these rumours literally every time they address the press. After the 2-1 Inter win, Messi has been asked the same question about his relationship with Griezmann.
Messi responds, as per Diario AS: "Obviously we have no problem. There is a good relationship with everyone, we are united."
A the same time, Messi highlights the importance of being united in light of Barca's recent struggles: "We were aware that the moment was not the best, we needed this victory to get on track so from now we can go up [a level]."
As for Griezmann, he was asked about Messi during the pre-match press conference on Tuesday. That's what he said:
"Neither Messi nor I talk a lot, so it's difficult to talk. But I've already prepared some 'mate' (South American drink) for him, the relationship is going in the right direction. He has also been injured... It's complicated. We still have to improve the connection to the field."
By the way, Messi has already assisted on Griezmann's goal. This happened last week in the 2-1 Villarreal win.
