Mundo Deportivo: Beckham reportedly targets Suarez for Inter Miami

Luis Suarez isn't getting any younger. It remains to be seen whether he is going to retire at Barcelona given the Catalans' most recent acquisition of Antoine Griezmann and Neymar's highly anticipated arrival.

Barcelona-based newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim Suarez could continue at Inter Miami, the MLS side which belongs to legendary David Beckham. He reportedly plans to make the Uruguayan his first 'marquee' signing. Previously, Inter have been linked with Suarez's national team attacking partner, Edinson Cavani. The same source believes Suarez could be interested in this move.

Inter Miami will launch their MLS campaign next year. As for Suarez, his Blaugrana deal expires in two years.

Suarez has been at Barcelona since the summer of 2014. Last season, he scored 25 goals for the Catalans in all competitions with only one of them arriving in the Champions League.

The Uruguayan didn't start the current campaign on the positive note as he suffered an unfortunate calf injury in the middle of Barca's league opener against Athletic Bilbao. Without their centre-forward, the Catalans subsequently lost 1-0.
