OFFICIAL: Barca confirm signing of Brazilian rising star Gustavo Maia

• Barcelona have finally confirmed the signing of highly talented Brazilian attacker Gustavo Maia from Sao Paulo.
• The 19-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Catalan club.
• He will have a €300m release clause; for comparison, Ansu Fati's buyout clause is currently set at mere €170m.
• The whole operation cost Barca around €4.5 million.
• Maia will join Barcelona B as soon as he arrives from Brazil, possibly in mid-August.
• The 19-year-old is described as a pacey forward with decent finishing skills and an eye for a pass.
