Barca 'in race against time' to ship away the deadwood

• The transfer window closes on October 5 and Barcelona are 'in a race against time' to sell their unwanted stars, Diario Sport say.
• The Catalans want to focus on the departures of Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal and Samuel Umtiti, all considered surplus to the requirements by Ronald Koeman.
• Suarez has one more year left on his contract and he's been linked with Ajax, Inter Miami and Leicester City; Blaugrana could also terminate his contract.
• Sevilla are interested in Rakitic but refuse to pay any money for the midfielder while the Catalans want to get at least a minimal fee.
• Vidal is followed by Inter Milan and Juventus; just like with the Croatian midfielder, Barca won't let Arturo leave for free.
• Umtiti is the most difficult case as there have been no offers on the Frenchman so far; 'Big Sam' has a contract with Barca until 2023.
