  • Jordi Cruyff, son of Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff, is 'set to become part of Joan Laporta's project' if the latter wins the election, as per RAC1.
  • The 47-year-old would be part of Barca's new board.
  • Earlier, it was said by Victor Font that Jordi would join his team if he won the presidential race, but the latter dismissed those claims.
  • Cruyff is currently the head coach of Chinese Super League side Shenzhen FC.
  • Cruyff used to be a sporting director at Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv and at a Cypriot club AEK Larnaca.
  • Jordi played for Barcelona between 1994 and 1996.
  • Barcelona's presidential election will take place on March 7.
