Tusquets: "Koeman loves the club. He was the first to tell me 'pay me when it's possible'''

"I want Ronald Koeman to continue [at Camp Nou]. He is a brave man. He loves the club and he was the first to say 'pay me when it's possible.' This helped a lot with the negotiation of the players. I am very grateful to him for his initial predisposition," former interim president Carles Tusquets has told Cadena SER.

As a reminder, the Barcelona players and staff had to undergo a pay cut since the club was struggling financially because of the pandemic. Koeman and his colleagues were among the first ones to agree to the wage reduction.
