Eric Garcia has reportedly penned a deal that will see him play at Camp Nou for the next 5 years, Diaro Sport confirms.

Garcia's move will remain unofficial till the end of the season, as both parties desire to keep the deal private for now.

The Manchester City central defender has long desired a move back to the city where he was born and with a club that brought him up.

Garcia will join Barca for free given his contract with City expires this summer.

With Gerard Pique ageing while Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti remain inconsistent, Barca can do with a La Masia graduate like Garcia who understands the system and loves the club.
