Barca ready to let Samuel Umtiti leave for free next summer (reliability: 3 stars)

According to Diario AS, Barcelona are planning to reshuffle their defence this summer, and besides Junior Firpo, they also plan to part ways with Samuel Umtiti. However, unlike with the left-back, the Catalans are ready to let Umtiti leave for free.

This shouldn't come as a surprise since it's unlikely for Barca to find a buyer for Samuel, as the 27-year-old has got massive wages and he's barely played over the last three seasons. Besides, his contract at the club runs until 2023.

This term so far, Umtiti has played 678 minutes for Blaugrana across 13 matches. In total, he's made only seven starts.
