Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is one of the names on Barcelona's list of potential Sergio Busquets successors, Mundo Deportivo's Jordi Batalla reports. However, the Catalans would have to move quickly if they want to land the 18-year-old, it's said, and a decision must be taken this summer.
According to reputable outlet The Athletic, Camavinga's contract at Rennes expires in 2022 and he isn't planning on extending his current deal. Thus, the Ligue 1 club would be open to selling the defensive midfielder this summer so not to lose him for free in a year's time.
Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also interested in the Angola-born French international. Eduardo is expected to cost around €50m.
In 37 matches for Rennes this season, Camavinga recorded a goal and three assists, as per Transfermarkt.

MD also adds that Barca attempted to sign Gravenberch when he was 15 but Ajax refused to let him go back then.

Barcelona are interested in signing Real Sociedad's Mikel Merino, Eduardo Camavinga of Rennes and Sassuolo's Manuel Locatelli as potential replacements for Sergio Busquets, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Busquets turns 33 in July so no wonder the Catalans are beginning to think about their life without the midfielder.
The most realistic option is said to be Locatelli as Barca have good relationships with Sassuolo - something that could help the Blaugrana land the €35m-rated player on the cheap.
Camavinga, in turn, remains heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid while Merino's €60m release clause at Sociedad will rise by €5m at the end of the season.
