"I can confirm that Memphis Depay’s deal is progressing well. It hasn't been signed yet, but it's almost done. I wanted him last January, but if it does happen now, that's great," Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has told Voetbal International.
The Catalans are looking to sign the 27-year-old on a free transfer as his deal with Lyon is set to expire on June 30. It's said that the Blaugrana have offered him a three-year contract.
According to previous reports, Koeman has played a big role in convincing Depay to choose Barca above any other club.
Last season, Memphis recorded 22 goals and 12 assists in 40 games for Lyon.

As per reports, the Netherlands international has already reached an agreement to join the Blaugrana on a free transfer from Lyon. Depay's transfer to Camp Nou is expected to be made official by the end of the week.
