Could Barcelona players face off in Euro 2020 final? Examining playoff bracket

All nine Barcelona players who represent the club at this summer's European Championship have made it to the tournament's last-16 round.

In fact, there were 10 Culers involved at Euro 2020 but Ousmane Dembele was forced to withdraw from France's squad after suffering a knee injury over the weekend.

As the competition's playoff bracket has been revealed, let's take a look at what scenarios could see Barca players face each other in the final on July 11.

The winner of France vs Switzerland last-16 clash will take on the better side of Croatia vs Spain encounter in the quarter-finals. Thus, Clement Lenglet and Antoine Griezmann could lock horns with Jordi Alba, Eric Garcia, Sergio Busquets and Pedri in the last-8 round.

The Netherlands, meanwhile, will take on Denmark in the quarter-finals if they defeat the Czech Republic and Wales respectively at the last-16 stage. That scenario would see Frenkie de Jong and Barca's new boy Memphis Depay facing Martin Braithwaite.

Considering the teams' performances at the group stages, we'd say that there's a huge possibility of France meeting the Netherlands in the final with Griezmann, Lenglet, De Jong and Depay all facing off at Wembley.
