Italy star Barella hails Barca legends ahead of Euro semifinal vs Spain
Nicolo Barella has been one of Italy's standout players at Euro 2020 so far.
However, the Italian midfielder claims he has been inspired by Barca icons Xavi and Iniesta.
“Spain had great champions who inspired us all, such as Xavi and Iniesta”, Barella was quoted by Marca.
“It is easy to say they inspired us (midfielders), but they inspired all those who love football."
Barcelona make contact with Lorenzo Insigne
Unconfirmed reports from Italy claim Barcelona have indicated an interest in signing Lorenzo Insigne from Napoli.
The Blaugrana are said to have reached out to Insigne's agent but no official negotiations are on the cards yet.
Robin Gosens interested in Barcelona move
Germany star at Euro 2020 Robin Gosens is open to any offers on the table for him considering his recent comments.
"We'll have a look now," Gosens said to Sport1.
"During the European Championship, I told my dad [and agent] that he should just leave me alone with the topic."
"Now I'm back home again, I'll talk to him and see if something is on the program.
"I'm not lying when I say that I don't know anything about it at the moment. My entire focus was on the Euros. When something happens, let's see."
Gosens has been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer.
