Option 1: Depay as false 9 in 4-3-3
This system is easily one of Barca's strongest, even without an out-and-out striker. Memphis can put in a solid shift as a false 9.
Griezmanna and Demir can flaw Sociedad with their movement in the final third of the pitch.
In midfield Koeman can opt for a triumvirate involving Busquets and Pedri.
Option 2: 4-3-3 with Braithwaite
Barcelona XI: Neto; Dest, Araujo, Garcia, Alba; De Jong, Busquets, Roberto; Griezmann, Memphis, Braithwaite.
This option brings more experience to the Barcelona attack with Braithwaite starting as the centre forward.
Griezmann and Depay can alternate on the wing causing all kinds of trouble for Sociedad.
If Pedri must be rested, this option gives Koeman the opportunity with Roberto replacing the overworked teenager.
Option 3: 3-5-2
Barcelona XI: Neto; Dest, Araujo, Garcia, Alba; De Jong, Busquets, Roberto; Griezmann, Memphis.
Koeman seems to like this formation for some reason. He once said it gives him more options.
The system is good so long as De Jong doesn't play in a back 3.
The reargard can be Araujo, Garcia and Pique. Dest and Alba will be the wing-backs, obviously.
In midfield, Pedri and De Jong cannot be benched.
