'Seems like he does it on purpose': Messi slams Argentina-Peru referee right in Instagram post

"Hard game, it was difficult to play. There was a strong wind and the opposition left little space behind," Leo Messi wrote on Instagram after the Peru game.

"The referee does the same things every time he officiates our games. Maybe he does them on purpose.

"Anyway, happy for the 3 points and we're one step closer to our goal," the Argentine concluded.

Barca fans have noticed how different Messi has been on social media since he won Copa America. The Blaugrana legend started to post personal Insta stories more often while his post-match statements seem like being posted by Leo himself, not his social media managers.

Argentina beat Peru 1-0. Messi's national team are currently second in their group, incredibly close to qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.
