Deschamps names major reason behind Griezmann's difficulties at Barca

"Griezmann didn't look happy at Barca. He made the effort, though," France boss Didier Deschamps has told Telefoot.

"Obviously, it's a question of using him properly, playing him in the right position," he added.

With France and Atletico Madrid, Antoine Griezmann usually plays as an attacking midfielder behind Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema. At Barca, he played a centre-forward or a left winger.

On Sunday, Griezmann said that he doesn't consider his Barca spell a 'disaster' as he was quite a prolific player in his two seasons with the Catalans.
