Araujo 9, Memphis 3: rating Barca players in Benfica draw

The Uruguayan was rock-solid defensively and even contributed a lot to Barcelona's attacks, as some of his recovereis ended in coutner for the home side. Araujo even scored an late goal but it was, unfortunately, ruled out for offside. And the worst part of it is that he got injured while celebrating.

Busquets had a magisterial performance against Benfica. He was at the heart of almost every Barca attack as he pulled all the strings. Sergio also did a good job when pressing but perhaps lacked speed at times.

Dembouz did not play too much but he left a very good impression. He nearly created a goal but Frenkie de Jong's header was surprisingly saved by the goalkeeper. Ousmane created a lot of danger through his dribbles and crosses, and his speed was a good addition to the Catalans' game.

The Frenchman was definitely the weak link in Barca's defence, as most dangerous attacks came through the left side. Lenglet was often dribbled past, and the passes — which he is supposed to be good at — were far from perfect.

The Dutchman's decision-making against Benfica was terrible. He shot at the goal when he was supposed to pass, and went for passes or dribbles when he was supposed to shoot. Barca could have definitely gotten a goal had Memphis gone for the right choices in the opportunities that he had.
