Xavi's definite response to Barca willing to accept offers for Nico, Gavi and Pedri

Spanish media have been going haywire with rumours about Barca willing to sell the likes of Frenkie de Jong, Nico, Gavi and even Pedri to get some cash flowing.

Xavi responded to such rumours in his press conference ahead of the Villarreal clash.

“We need them - they are not for sale at all. Selling them isn’t our idea," Xavi said.

"What we want is for them to be here and strengthen themselves”

De Jong has a contract with Barca until 2026, same as Pedri, who even has a €1bn release clause.

As for Nico, his contract runs until 2024, while Barcelona continue to prepare a new deal for Gavi.
